INNOVATION WORKSHOP – A STRENGTHS-BASED APPROACH

Innovation Workshop with a Strengths-Based Approach

Think only “certain kind of people” are innovative? Think again.

In this workshop, learn how to use your strengths, in conjunction with the strengths of your team, and discover the innovation process.

The Innovation Process has 14 steps that any team can achieve. Each step draws on the unique talents and skills of each team member, that when brought together, can improve innovation exponentially.

Through this process you will map the strengths of your team which will enable you to “hack” into strategies and processes that work for your unique team. In this strengths innovation “hack-a-thon” we will take a very hands on approach and each team will invent something new that’s related to a product or service you already offer. As we go through this process you will research, learn, design and build something totally new and totally innovative.

Why is this so important? In the modern business world, innovation is key to survival. Many big companies lose the innovation that they started with. They then become threatened by smaller, learner, more agile, and more innovative competitors. Today’s innovators, such as Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg, know that innovation is a team sport, and that everybody’s talents are needed.

Paul Allen brings his 25 years of startup experience as he helps your company embrace innovation. Paul is a mission-driven serial entrepreneur, tech visionary, and lecturer on entrepreneurship and innovation, technology, strengths psychology, workplace culture, and human potential. Paul has founded 8 companies in his 29-year career in tech, including Ancestry.com.

Use your team’s strengths and see what the innovation process can do for you.
