Social media, which would have accounted for a very small increment of the “Other online marketing” slice just a few years ago, is now garnishing 11% of the average online marketing budget. Based on other trends indicated in this report, social media’s share will continue to increase in the year ahead.

    I do believe in this statistics because I’ve also heard social networking will be greatly emphasized with marketing strategies which appear to be bigger this year. Twitter and Facebook will really come a long way!

  2. This has to be a great day for social media guys. Over passing SEO in importance has been a long time in the making. All I can say is good show and It really does make sense I enjoy the Social media experience hundreds of times better than SEO.

  3. What I’d like to know is the growth percentage by year of each one… social media has to be growing exponentially…
