Mailing list companies have massive databases that include most consumers and businesses in the United States. You can target consumers by age, gender, income, interests, credit, location, subscriptions to specific magazines, and hundreds of other traits. I\’ve done less direct marketing using mailing lists in the last few years than I did in the 90\’s with my first company, but I still like to receive free catalogs from the mailing list vendors.

FundingUtah.com is now in beta testing mode. Utah entrepreneurs can post their business summary and even have their own blog (about their startup company). Interested angel investors can learn about businesses that are seeking capital and can initiate contact with the entrepreneurs.
After we fix bugs and respond to suggestions from investors and entrepreneurs the site will be formally launched in a few weeks. We are planning to invite several hundred angel investors and high networth individuals to join.
