An extremely innovate entrepreneurship program designed by venture capital investor Greg Warnock was covered by the Salt Lake Tribune this week. The Junto program trains scores of would-be entrepreneurs and then through a competitive selection process, chooses a handful to fund each year. This year 10 Junto members will be funded with $50,000 each in startup capital. The Junto are divided into teams of five members.

Senator Bennett\’s Rural Business Conference
Senator Bob Bennett held his 4th annual Rural Business Conference yesterday, this year in Price, Utah. Attendance was strong. Keynote speeches were given by Governor Jon Huntsman, Jr., the Entrepreneur\’s Governor, and Dr. Patrick Byrne, CEO of Overstock.com, founder of Worldstock.com, and all-around brilliant human being. Salt Lake City Jumps 73 Places in List of Top Cities for Doing Business
Reno, NV is ranked #1 and Boise, ID is ranked #2 in this years ranking of the top cities in which to do business, based primarily on economic growth. The survey was published today by Inc. Magazine. We will be holding a launch event and press conference, with Utah Governor Jon Huntsman, Jr. on April 26th at 1:00 pm at the Larry H. Miller Business Innovation Center (Karen Miller Conference Center). Some of the leading investors and entrepreneurs in the state will be in attendance.
Raser Technologies Raises $20 Million
